In Mozart’s Don Giovanni, revenge is a dish best served stone cold.

Merging humor, suspense and the supernatural, Don Giovanni follows Spain’s legendary libertine as he commits murder in a moonlit duel, embarks on adventures with his wingman and seduces the women of Seville. Will this depraved playboy fulfill his insatiable lust, or will his amoral actions result in eternal damnation?

Experience an evening of fevered passions and heavenly arias when Music Director Fabio Luisi leads this opera-in-concert performance of Mozart’s dark comedy. An all-star cast of international singers takes to the stage, led by Italian baritone Ildebrando D’Arcangelo, who “luxuriates in the emotions that such a confident cad requires — petulance, desire, boldness, sweetness and charm” (OperaWire).
