Dallas Symphony Children’s Chorus
The DSO has created the Dallas Symphony Children’s Chorus that builds upon the rich history and practice of choral singing established in the Greater Dallas region, including the Dallas Symphony Chorus through its over forty years of service. The DSCC will provide a multi-tiered choral curriculum for children and youth grades 4-12, with a continued emphasis on artistic excellence and representation of Dallas’ diverse communities.

Welcome to the Dallas Symphony Children’s Chorus!
If you love to sing and dream of collaborating with a world-class orchestra, this is the place for you! At the DSCC, our goal is to instill a love for music, build confidence, foster teamwork through hands-on experience, and enhance music reading skills and singing technique. With a vision to create harmony with other passionate and talented singers at a young age, DSCC’s singers will find life-long joy in achieving excellence and becoming compassionate, empathetic individuals – all while having fun!

Gustav Mahler, one of the great orchestral composers, is known for his dramatic and sweeping works. He premiered his 8th symphony also known as “Symphony of a Thousand,” just before his death. Symphony No. 8 in E-Flat Major requires a remarkable number of choral and orchestral musicians to perform, including children’s chorus. The DSCC is delighted to be a part of such a magnificent performance, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
