Born in Novara, Manuela Custer made her debut at the Teatro Regio in Turin and since then appeared regularly in the most prestigious venues in the world including: La Scala, Montecarlo, Verona, Genoa, Venice, Salzburg, Istanbul, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Detroit, Dallas, Rome, Paris, Seville, Pesaro, London, Granada, Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Cordoba, Palma de Mallorca, Bilbao, Tenerife, Florence, Leipzig, Wien and San Sebastian in a wide repertoire raging from baroque music (Incoronazione di Poppea, Orlando furioso, Giustino, Griselda, Tamerlano, Didone), to Italian belcanto (Barbiere di Siviglia, Cenerentola, Capuleti e Montecchi, Tancredi, Italiana in Algeri, Anna Bolena) to contemporary composers.
