At C-Suite Christmas, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra celebrates one of the most important partnerships of all – business and the arts.

Funds raised during C-Suite Christmas benefit the students in the DSO’s Young Musicians Program and Southern Dallas Residency, which provide free instruments and music lessons to hundreds of students each year.

The performance will feature prominent business leaders alongside the musicians of the Dallas Symphony in roles including conductor, narrator, percussionist and more. The 2021 C-Suite Cast includes:

  • Trammell S. Crow, Founder and Visionary, EarthX
  • Chad Houser, Founder, CEO and Executive Chef, Cafe Momentum
  • T.D. Jakes, Founder and Chairman, T.D. Jakes Foundation
  • Lynn McBee, Civic Leader, Former Chairman of the Board of The Dallas Opera and TACA
  • Christine Perez, Editor, D CEO

In 2021, the event will honor Chad Houser, and a scholarship for the DSO’s education programs will be named in recognition of his transformational work. Fundraising proceeds for this effort will also support Cafe Momentum.

C-Suite Christmas also has an international reach thanks to a partnership with Bloomberg Television. The production will be recorded and aired multiple times throughout December.

Millennial® Choirs & Orchestras proudly presents “I Played My Best for Him.” Featuring a stunning musical force of hundreds of musicians, including the remarkable Youth Choirs, the elegant Grand Chorus, and the superb Symphony Orchestra, this concert will bring the magic of Christmas to your heart and inspire your soul.

A Thousand Thoughts
A live documentary with the Kronos Quartet
Written and directed by Sam Green and Joe Bini

Oscar-nominated filmmakers Sam Green and Joe Bini have teamed up with Grammy-winning Kronos Quartet for a wildly creative multimedia performance piece that blends live music and narration with archival footage and filmed interviews with such prominent artists as Philip Glass, Tanya Tagaq, Steve Reich, Wu Man and Terry Riley. Together on stage, Green and Kronos interact with the stirring cinematic imagery on screen to craft an important record and exploration of late 20th– and early 21st–century music. As Green tells the multi-decade and continent-spanning story of the groundbreaking string quartet, Kronos revisits its extensive body of work, performing music by George Crumb, Laurie Anderson, John Zorn, Aleksandra Vrebalov and many others. Transcending the typical live music and film event, this collaboration quickly becomes a meditation on music itself–the act of listening to it closely, the experience of feeling it deeply, and the power that it has to change the world.
