Before the orchestra officially wraps up the milestone season in June 2026, the DSO will tour the West Coast in the spring of 2026. Luisi and the orchestra bring the Schumann Piano Concerto (featuring George Li) and Mahler’s Fourth Symphony to audiences in three cities in California: Palm Desert on March 31, Santa Barbara on April 1 and Costa Mesa on April 2.

Due to an acute illness, Hélène Grimaud, originally scheduled to perform the Schumann Piano Concerto, is not able to perform and unfortunately will not be joining us for our California tour this week. She is very sorry and hopes to come back to these wonderful venues as soon as possible and to work with the DSO and Maestro Luisi again soon. We are fortunate that acclaimed pianist George Li will perform Schumann’s Piano Concerto with us on tour.
