A testament of love and longing for his Bohemian homeland, Dvořák’s concerto showcases the cello’s sensual, burnished voice with music that’s fiery and wistful, earthy and ethereal. 

In a nod to the city of Ma’s birth, Mozart’s “Paris” Symphony opens the program with elegance and dazzling energy. From its thunderous opening fanfares to the finale’s celebratory fireworks, Mozart’s symphony unfolds with irresistible momentum.
