Explore the power of music through the voice of the violin with virtuoso Regina Carter. Featuring a sound that transcends genres, she is widely hailed for her mastery on the violin and her drive to expand its possibilities. Performing many styles of music from jazz, R&B, Latin, classical, blues, country, pop, African, and every musical genre in between, she has cemented herself as a true pioneer of her instrument. 

A recipient of the MacArthur “genius” Award and a Doris Duke Artist Award, she has had a profound impact both on the worlds of Violin and Jazz. She has soloed on several Grammy Award-winning and nominated albums in the past including James Carter’s Caribbean Rhapsody, along with Eddie Palmieri’s Listen Here and “Some of That Sunshine,” the title track on vocalist Karrin Allyson’s album. A captivating live performer, she has performed with legends Kenny Barron, Billy Joel, Dolly Parton and Mary J. Blige in addition to performances with numerous orchestras including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony.
