Cantor Hallie Weiner

Hallie Weiner is a native of Los Angeles who was recently ordained as a cantor by the Academy for Jewish Religion in California. She received her Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Northwestern University and a Diplome des Etudes Superieurs de Musique from the Regional Conservatory of Paris. She sang in jazz clubs during her operatic studies in Paris. Hallie has served as the Cantorial Intern and B’nai Mitzvah Coordinator at Temple Emanu-El since 2018. She loves to bring joy to her community through music and learning. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Willie, her son Jake, her daughter, Rosie, and their two dogs, Maxie and Marley.
