Brian Piper

If you’ve watched television or listened to the radio just about anywhere in
the world for the last thirty years, you have heard his music! From local
jingles to national advertising campaigns, Brian has written, produced and/
or performed music for NBC Sports, World Cup Soccer, Arena Football
League, as well as countless local and national commercials in markets
around the world, and in many languages, including television image
music, radio ID’s and industrial films. He has become one of the most
sought after studio musicians in the business. In this arena Brian is an
accomplished producer, conductor, composer, arranger, and orchestrator.
He is also a studio singer, singing for advertising campaigns, record
projects, and films. Brian plays regularly in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and
travels the world touring, producing and performing.

As a player Brian has performed and recorded with musicians and artists of
all musical styles, from Texas legends Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Jerry Jeff
Walker and Lloyd Maines to jazz greats Cab Calloway, Rosemary Clooney,
Kenny Rankin, Natalie Cole, Kirk Whalum and Clark Terry, to country, pop
and other artists Toby Keith, Jimmy Buffett, Levon Helm, Kris Kristofferson,
Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo, Byron Stripling, Carmen Bradford, Shoshana Bean,
Jayne Lynch, Joan Rivers, The Vocal Majority and many more. He has
played with many of the local and regional orchestras, including the Dallas
Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Plano
Symphony, the Irving Symphony, and many more.

Brian has been a regular with the Broadway Dallas (formerly Dallas
Summer Musicals), the Winspear Opera House and Bass Performance
Hall, and has played Pretty Woman, Ain’t Too Proud, Dreamgirls, Mean
Girls, Wicked, Kinky Boots, Hairspray, Chicago, The Bodyguard, Little
Mermaid, Chorus Line, The Color Purple, Pippin, Beautiful, Billy Elliot, The
Producers, Something Rotten, Hello, Dolly, Fiddler on the Roof, Cabaret,
The Wiz, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Mean Girls and many more.
Currently serving as the Director of Worship and Arts at Grace Bible
Church in Dallas, Brian enjoys writing and arranging music for choir,
orchestra and a wide variety of ensembles in both traditional and
contemporary styles.

Brian is a commercially licensed pilot and has enjoyed all kinds of flying,
including seasons as a charter pilot, an aerobatic nut and an all-around
airport bum! He’s an avid snow skier, is married to a classical horn player,
and enjoys cooking! Brian has two fabulous daughters, awesome sons-inlaw, and is a brand new grandpa
