Remembering Peggy Zimmers (1926-2020)

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra remembers its former violinist Peggy Miller Zimmers, who passed away peacefully at her home in Frisco on January 10, 2020, at the age of 93. She was born October 27, 1926, in Marysville, Kansas, to Joan Marie (Riepen) and Donald Irwin Frager. She is survived by her husband, Donald Ellis Zimmers, her daughters, Debbie Pickerell (husband Larry) and Pam White (husband Tom) and her seven grandchildren: Ken Gibson (wife Nadiya), Stefanie Floodeen (husband Tommy), Jamie Chandler (husband Kyle), Christine Armstrong (husband Devin), Jeff White (wife Melissa), Tommy Gibson, and Nikki Waring (husband Callum).
