In 1987 Congress passed legislation that designated March as Women’s History Month to recognize women’s undeniable contributions to American history, culture, and society. The 2025 theme is “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating & Inspiring Generations.” This theme celebrates the collective strength, equality, and influence of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership, shaping the minds and futures of all generations.
