Carmen Menza: Negotiating Dialogues
September 18, 2021
Negotiating Dialogues is a modern chamber work for clarinet, viola, cello, vibraphone and spoken poetry that employ an environment of both recorded and live players. Using software algorithms, projections are triggered by the music and appear around the audience creating a visually and auditory immersive environment.
Created by Menza in collaboration with Mark Menza, Eric Farrar and Joel Olivas, Negotiating Dialogues is a recipient of a grant from the TACA New Works Fund and received support from the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture.
