Experience the power of resilience and remembrance with Murry Sidlin’s Defiant Requiem: Verdi at Terezín — a multimedia concert-drama that commemorates the remarkable story of courageous Jewish prisoners in the Theresienstadt Concentration Camp (Terezín) during World War II who performed the ambitious Verdi Requiem while enduring the depths of human degradation.

Ben Folds joins the DSO for two nights! Lila Downs in Concert with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra

GRAMMY® Award-winning artist, Lila Downs, one of the most influential artists in Latin America, joins the DSO for charismatic performances that showcase her unique voice. Her own compositions combine genres and rhythms as diverse as Mexican rancheras and corridos, boleros, jazz standards, hip-hop, cumbia and popular American music.

As We Speak: Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain, Edgar Meyer featuring Rakesh Chaurasia

The DSO is excited to welcome Béla Fleck, Zakir Hussain and Edgar Meyer with Rakesh Chaurasia to the stage. NPR stated they are “simply the best at what they do… They are world-class masters of the banjo, the bass fiddle and the tabla [who] conquered mere technical prowess long ago.”

Turtle Creek Chorale “Sing for Our Lives”

The Turtle Creek Chorale will join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra for a special one-night-only concert featuring music in a variety of styles and genres. This performance will present new works by composers including Alberto Cordero Garcia and Joseph Martin. Jake Runestad, Mark Sirett, The Goo-Goo Dolls, Sara Bareilles and other will be featured in contemporary choral, pop and Broadway works as well.
