Mary Reynolds has studied with Vlado Kolitsch and Clyda Yedinak and received a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Southern California as a Friends of Music Scholarship recipient to study with Eudice Shapiro. Other teachers include Joachim Chassman, Camilla Wicks, and Peter Marsh. She was awarded a graduate scholarship to S.U.N.Y Binghamton where she received a master’s degree and was first violinist of the Griffes Quartet, in residence at Elmira College, N.Y. Mary served as Principal Second Violinist with the Houston Grand Opera and has also enjoyed working in the San Antonio Symphony. She was a founding member of Trio Accord in Dallas and has played in various chamber music groups over the years as well as being an active recording musician. Most recently, Mary was invited to perform at Music In the Mountains in Durango, Colorado. She enjoys mountain hiking, old movies, reading and travel and is the mother of three grown daughters.
