Nasher &amp; David J. Haemisegger Principal Conductor, Dallas Symphony Presents. In this role, he will conduct at least three programs in the 2023\/24, 2024\/25 and 2025\/26 seasons. In the 2023\/24 season Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez will lead the DSO in two concerts with vocalist Lila Downs (September 15 &amp; 16, 2023), accompany Troupe Vertigo (April 19-21, 2024) and helm the YP Gala on June 22, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dallas Symphony Presents programs feature a range of genres from popular song and jazz to Latin music and Broadway stars. In recent seasons, DSP concerts have included two nights with Terence Blanchard, the annual D\u00eda de los Muertosconcert, selections from <em>The Nutcracker<\/em>, the Dallas premiere of Gabriela Ortiz\u2019s <em>Yanga<\/em> and the popular Movies-in-Concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Enrico Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez as the Principal Conductor of Dallas Symphony Presents,\u201d said Kim Noltemy, Ross Perot President &amp; CEO of the Dallas Symphony. \u201cHis exceptional musicianship, passion for connecting with audiences and commitment to community engagement will make him a dynamic addition to the DSO\u2019s artistic team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I am honored to join the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in this newly created role,\u201d said&nbsp;Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez. \u201cI am excited to collaborate with&nbsp;the incredible musicians of the Dallas Symphony&nbsp;and to further connect with the vibrant arts community in Dallas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enrico Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez is the newly named Principal Pops Conductor of the Pacific Symphony commencing in the 2023-2024 season. In addition, Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez is the Principal Pops Conductor of the Nashville Symphony where he leads the Symphony\u2019s Pops and Family Series. Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez is quickly establishing himself as one of the Nation\u2019s leading conductors of popular music and becoming known for his unique style of audience engagement.&nbsp;Since working with the Nashville Symphony, Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez has conducted concerts with a broad spectrum of artists including Nas, Patti LaBelle, Itzhak Perlman, Stewart Copeland, Kenny Loggins, Toby Keith, Leslie Odom Jr., Megan Hilty, Tituss Burgess and more. Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez also conducts the annual Let Freedom Sing! Music City July 4th fireworks show which was first televised on CMT in 2019 reaching millions of viewers across the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the upcoming season, Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez will appear with the Baltimore Symphony, Buffalo Philharmonic, Pittsburgh Symphony, Philadelphia Orchesrea, Phoenix Symphony, San Francisco Symphony, and Seattle Symphony as well as make return appearances with the Dallas Symphony, Detroit Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony and Omaha Symphony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Symphonica Productions, LLC, Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez curates and leads programs designed to cultivate new audiences. An enthusiastic proponent of innovating the concert experience, his exciting education, classical, and pops concerts are performed by orchestras across the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE DALLAS SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA<br><\/strong>The Dallas Symphony Orchestra, under the leadership of Music Director Fabio Luisi, presents more than 150 orchestra concerts at the Morton H.
